PARTICIPATION
Brantford Hawk Rep Basketball follows the rules of Basketball Ontario with respect to player participation:
Novice and Atom: All games are structured based on equal playing time, as defined by Basketball Ontario.
Bantam to Juvenile: There is no minimum playing time per player. However, the coaches of the Brantford Rep Basketball teams will endeavour to maximize the playing time for all team members. The amount of time may be dependent upon several factors: 1) the calibre of the opponent, 2) the substitution patterns of the opponent, 3) the actual game situation, 4) practice attendance, etc. The coaches will work towards ensuring that your boy’s playing time is a positive experience.
This newsletter is an overview of the upcoming basketball season. We hope that you and your son have an enjoyable experience and that as parents you will encourage all participants and support the Brantford Hawk Rep Basketball Program to the fullest.
